Photo 5 - Colourcircle




The students mixed the primary colours yellow, blue and red to get the result of Johannes Ittens colourcircle in the course chromatology.

  3. I agree, our students in hairdressing and makeup do the same colour theory. Some things just don't change do they. :)

  5. In fashion we also teach colour theory and the elements and principles of design. The students will mix paint colours to create a colour wheel and colour matching with Pantone colours and also complete on computerised colour wheel in Photoshop

  6. We teach in color theory to create a basic color knowledge to use and work with contrasts and different tones in different compositions. Therefore we review Johannes Itten's color theory that deals with colors properties, uses and composition.
    Students will then mix the colors and try things out to understand the theory behind color theory and then work with it in different floristic works from the color theory.
