At JB secondary school, we think a lot of our students. At each break, students receive fruit to cope perform better at school. Fresh air is equally important where JB encourages students to be active during the breaks. Here are some footballs that we give students who want to play on the break.
An apple a day keeps the doctor away...
ReplyDeleteI thinks it's really good that you do like this;)
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful service for the students! I know some of students come to class not eating breakfast, it is great to offer such healthy options. Does the school have grounds that students can play football on? How many students do you have there Mandana?
ReplyDeleteI agree, this is great. Students who haven't eaten breakfast (which can be quite common) are less likely to be learning well. Is this - the healthy food and exercise - a philosophy of the school, or a clever teacher who has arranged it?
ReplyDeleteYes I also thing that givning fruit is a great idea`. talking about food.
ReplyDeleteIs it a prejudice of mine or could it be that some students in the beauty area might also have tendencies of anorecia? What do you do for those - if you have them?
I can only agree with everyone of you above. I think it's great that you are giving fruit to the students so they are able to achieve something during the lessons. And like you said, not everyone eats breakfast so this is great!
ReplyDeleteI wanted to do that at my school with my sweet students but my school principal said no becuse of the economi.=(
Mandana my dear...where do you serve the fruit?
ReplyDeleteAn excellent idea with the fruit! I agree with everyone else.
