I suppose you mean the students. If we take the blouse for example, I should say about 3 weeks. Then it´s not full time and I counted the time they have for patternmaking, cutting and sewing.
I would love to see the final product. We do a 'short course' draping on the bodice. If you look at photo five on my blog, you can the final product... it is the yellow dress. http://3vetteacherexchangeautumn2012.blogspot.com.au/2012/11/photo-five.html
Great photos. The environment that you are teaching in feels very creative. What teaching practices do you use to support the students' learning? For instance, do they start on smaller, easier tasks and then progress to more difficult tasks? How long does the course take?
Thats in progress, it's looks like a dress?
ReplyDeleteI can se why it's never a dull time among all fabrics and colors, it's a lot you can create with it.
Yes Sara it´s the beginning of a dress. The students are draping on a dress stand to get the best shape of their bodice.
ReplyDeleteHow long does it takes to make a dress Fru Uu?
ReplyDeleteFor me or for the students? ;)

ReplyDeleteThat's correct, they started with shorts, very simple. After the shorts, skirts, and blouses and jackets. I hope that I didn't forget anything...

ReplyDeleteThis is a municipal adult education and the students are 18 - 30 years old.
DeleteOk, similar ages as our students.
