  2. Yes Sara it´s the beginning of a dress. The students are draping on a dress stand to get the best shape of their bodice.

  4. For me or for the students? ;)

I suppose you mean the students. If we take the blouse for example, I should say about 3 weeks. Then it´s not full time and I counted the time they have for patternmaking, cutting and sewing.

  5. I would love to see the final product. We do a 'short course' draping on the bodice. If you look at photo five on my blog, you can the final product... it is the yellow dress. http://3vetteacherexchangeautumn2012.blogspot.com.au/2012/11/photo-five.html

  7. Great photos. The environment that you are teaching in feels very creative. What teaching practices do you use to support the students' learning? For instance, do they start on smaller, easier tasks and then progress to more difficult tasks? How long does the course take?

    1. That's correct, they started with shorts, very simple. After the shorts, skirts, and blouses and jackets. I hope that I didn't forget anything...

The course is for a year, I don't remember for how many hours.
