Lerning Situations ( Photo 4 )
Student wash client's hair after highlights. After each treatment, one must use care products on the customer's hair. As a hairdresser you have to teach the customer how to take care of their hair. Students will also learn about how to sell the right products to the right customer.
It's good that they learn about different kinds of products. It's a lot to choose from as a customer and hard to know whats best for the hair.
ReplyDeleteExactly Sara, very important to give customers the best service for their hair.
DeleteRemember to tell the student that it´s not a good idea to shower the costumers faces...
ReplyDeleteYes true that!
DeleteAnette, i suppose you have been in that situation?
ReplyDeleteHaha...yes! Been there done that!
ReplyDeleteLol!!!Poor Annette, it must been unpleasant for you.
DeleteIt was a traumatic experience!
ReplyDeleteWhat did the hairdresser say? Did you get a free haircut after what experience?

DeleteI don't think so, don't remember so probably not. :(
DeleteHow do you teach the students to sell the right product to the right client? Is there ever a clash between what you advise students to do and what the salon where they work advises them to do? If so, how do you manage that?
